The Sacramento River is waiting for you to catch some fish. Then you can relax by the pool with your friends. It's 9 feet deep at its deepest point too. No, it's not heated. Only our hot tub is heated.
The dining table conveniently seats 8 but you can add a few more chairs and squeeze 12 in. 2 people can seat at the counter bar. On the deck there are a couple more tables to be able to enjoy the sun.
A comfortable California King is perfect for a great night sleep.
The 2500 square foot house is central to the estate, with 2 1BR cottages to the East and West. Let the ones who snore sleep in one of the cottages, and the rest can enjoy the 4 sleeping areas in the main house
In the Master Suite you can enjoy the jetted jacuzzi bath in privacy
In the evening when the sun goes down you all can enjoy the deck area
The open plan int he main house provides lots of different seating areas.
The 1BR Studio Unit offers a comfortable queen bed
The Yellow Cottage has a very comfortable queen bed
Enjoy your favorite drink as you look for the family of otters swimming in the river.
We call this the Writing Room where there are 2 twin beds available to sleep on. If you need to take care of some office work, there is a desk and printer too, just so the boss doesn't think you are having too much fun.
The studio to the east has an IKEA Convertible Sofa Bed which can sleep a couple more people when it is opened up.
Whether it's the massive counter top or the 6 burner Wolf Stove, you will enjoy cooking your favorite meals here. We can put you in touch with a private chef who will arrange a special feast if you want to leave the cooking to someone else.
The Caldera Spa can seat 6 people comfortably too. Just rinse off before getting in so the spa stays as clean as possible.
Our middle bedroom has 2 twin beds as well as a double bed so up to 4 can sleep in this room
The double bed has a memory foam topper for that added bit of comfort
In the separate Studio Ashley on the east of the property there is a screened porch for some quiet conversations.
The 3rd bedroom it the house has 2 twin beds.
Adirondack chairs are so comfortable to sit in, it's like you just don't want to move.
You may want to have a game of chess but there are some other games in the other room you can enjoy too
Think about what kind of feast you can enjoy with your family or special friends.
Even Studio Ashley has its own kitchen and coffee maker
The couch and love seat in the Yellow Cottage provide those who stay in here a place for quiet relaxation away from the busy activities others may want to enjoy in the main house.
If you decide to kayak down the river, this is what you will see when you finish your 2.5 to 3 hour float from Redding
Nighttime in the Yellow Cottage is private and comfortable with its own split A/C heat pump and black out curtains.
The Yellow Cottage also has a Streaming TV so you can watch a show or enjoy a movie
The Yellow Cottage has a complete kitchen too if you are traveling with another family who want to prepare their own meals
The Private entrance to Studio Ashley is behind the garage and outside the kitchen door.

When the temperature is right, you may just want to hang out on the deck.
In Studio Ashley, this little toaster oven is actually a convection oven. The Keurig coffee maker is perfect for a quick cup of coffee or tea.
The Studio Bathroom includes a bathtub shower and large mirror at the sink providing you plenty of room and light to get everything perfect
The couch in the Yellow Cottage is big enough for a child to sleep on. There is also a double size mattress in the cabinet that you can set up where the foot cushion currently is.
You may want to have a private place to eat your breakfast or enjoy a meal together.
Everyone likes to try their hand at the axe throwing game
The bedroom in the Yellow Cottage also has a Streaming TV if you want to enjoy a movie before nodding off.
The yard is great to catch up those special conversations together.
There is plenty of room for everyone in the pool together.
Enjoy fresh well water that is crisp and refreshing instead of what comes out of a plastic bottle or what you may be used to drinking in the city.
We have a pet friendly property. Just clean up after your pet so no one steps in a left-over surprise when you enjoy the wildlife.
Sunsets are amazing at Riverside Homestays
The 2nd Bathroom in the house has everything you will need.
You can easily connect to the wifi by scanning the QR code
On those cool days you can turn on the propane fireplace while you relax or watch a show.
Nearby is the Turtle Bay Park and Outdoor Museum next to the Sundial Bridge in Redding.
In the Yellow Cottage you have a desk where you can get a few things done or just check your messages.

We have a couple of robes and rubber shoes if you want to keep your feet clean while you go out to the hot tub.
The Beautiful Sacramento River will help you rest, refresh and recharge. It's a little slice of heaven on earth where you can make special memories together.
Our yard is truly spacious where you can really have a good time together.
Families enjoy their time and capture their special moments to remember again and again.
If you bring your pet, they will have plenty of room to run around a play too.
Shasta County has some amazing wineries. Check out Mosely Family Vinyard's at their Wine Tasting Room in Downtown Redding
Even in the winter, the sparkly lights make for magical moments together.
Extra bedding is available along with some games in this cabinet in the Writing Room
Different flowers grow in different times of the year.
The property looks so different at different times of the day.
We can put our guardian fence up around the pool if you have little people who need a safety barrier. Let us know ahead of time if you need this set up.
The gate can close but if it gets jammed or is forced an alarm will sound.
Special lighting makes for some romantic evenings together.
The kitchen windows bring in so much natural light while you are cooking
Games or puzzles can be played with. Please take a minute to put thing back in the right box for our next guests.
The jets in the Caldera Spa add a whole other dimension of comfort. It's best not to stay in too long though. Please open the lid carefully and put it back when you are finished. Remember, no children are allowed in spa without adult supervision
In the Master Bedroom, you may want to set up an airbed for your kids to be able to sleep in the same room with you.
The pool goes from 3 1/2 feet at the far end to 9 feet on this deep end.
The west gate can close too if you feel you want that added level of privacy
We have a total of 3 Propane BBQs that are available around the property.

Then get together on the deck for an amazing barbecue and good times. Sleep in one of the 10 beds, or watch a show in front of the fireplace. There’s even two cottages, you could slip away to if you need a little bit more privacy. In the morning, you’ll enjoy preparing breakfast in our executive kitchen.

The riverside home was a beautiful property great for large groups. lots of room for friends and families to sit together and make memories. The house was equipped with all the necessary things needed for a smooth stay. The check in check out was very convenient too. Ps. The Shasta historic park and museum was worth a visit only about 20 mins from home.

We had an amazing stay at this perfect family home! The house was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The surrounding scenery was breathtaking, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The host was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Great place to gather with friends and family for a relaxing weekend by the pool and maybe have a float down the river. Easy to get to, larger yard, great pool, large spaces to gather inside and out.

A beautiful place to get away and unplug. The river was a short walk from the house and we loved to spend our mornings watching the wildlife there. The pool is perfect for a large group and we enjoyed cooking our meals in the nice kitchen. Our crew loved the home, it was clean, good AC and had plenty of beds. The hosts are kind and responsive. We hope to come back another time!
